Programs designed for every stage of early childhood.

The first months and years of a child’s life are the most formative in development of mind, body and spirit. Sleep, emotionally-responsive care, physical nourishment, and sensory stimulation are more important in infancy than at any other time. That is why, here at Bright Life Playschool, we provide a warm and nurturing environment with an emphasis on building primary caregiver relationships that allow for a secure attachment to develop. One of our main goals is to create a partnership with you (who are your child’s first and most important teacher!) by having frequent communication about the development and needs of your children in order to create the best plan to continue supporting their development.

PROGRAMS OVERVIEW

A note on program placement: The ages listed for each program are always approximate. When placing a child in a classroom, we take into consideration their individual developmental stage — not just their birthday. Our team works closely with each family to find the right fit.

Our youngest learners - growing one discovery at a time.

From their earliest days with us, infants and toddlers are held in warmth, consistency, and deeply responsive care. Each classroom honors the unique developmental stage your child is moving through - building the trust, language, and curiosity that everything else grows from.

Pea Pods

Building trust, one gentle moment at a time.

In the first year of life, children develop a foundational sense of trust and security. Our Pea Pods classroom provides a predictable, responsive, and deeply nurturing environment centered on primary caregiver relationships that allow secure attachment to develop. We partner closely with each family - communicating frequently about your child's development and co-creating the best plan to support their growth from the very start.

Sprouts

Stepping into the world, one new discovery at a time.

As infants grow more mobile and curious, our Sprouts classroom supports this exciting developmental transition. Rich sensory experiences, age-appropriate sign language, and attentive responsive care honor each child's emerging independence and growing sense of self. Sprouts bridges the nurturing intimacy of infancy with the social awakening of toddlerhood.

Poppyseeds

Learning to say it - with words, signs, and growing confidence.

Young toddlers are establishing their identity and learning to communicate. When unable to express their needs, they can easily become overwhelmed. In Poppy Seeds, we offer calm reassurance, social awareness, and sign language as bridges to spoken language — helping each child feel seen and understood as their voice begins to bloom.

Curious minds, big questions, and joyful discovery.

Our preschool classrooms use a child-led, inquiry-based approach inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy. Children are the protagonists of their own learning - their interests and questions shape every day. Teachers serve as co-learners, guides, and careful documenters of each child's remarkable growth.

Mudpies

Exploring, questioning, and making sense of the world.

The Mudpies room is full of exploration, questioning, and discovery. Children move from sign language toward oral communication and begin to categorize and make meaning out of the words, events, and objects around them. Our caregivers support each child's growing sense of independence, interdependence, and cooperative spirit - letting natural curiosity lead the way.

Rainbows

Your child's curiosity leads the learning.

Rainbows uses an inquiry-based, child-led curriculum in which children develop their own questions and share discoveries with peers and teachers. Children continue building self-regulation, self-control, and problem-solving skills - and as they face setbacks, they gain the perseverance and confidence to keep going.

Ready for what comes next - at their own beautiful pace.

Our TK program prepares children for elementary school while fiercely honoring childhood. Unlike TK programs now absorbed into public school settings, we preserve the low teacher-to-student ratios, daily time in nature, and hands-on creative exploration that children at this stage still deeply thrive in.

Raindrops

Raindrops

Your child's curiosity leads the learning.

In Raindrops, children experience a rich developmental environment that weaves together language arts, science, number concepts, and creative arts in age-appropriate, joyful ways. Experienced teachers cultivate the emotional and social skills that lay the groundwork for elementary school — while preserving the low teacher-to-student ratio, daily time outdoors, and exploration of art mediums we believe remain essential at this age.
